Fans of romantic dramas have something exciting on the horizon. With You, Our Love Will Make It Through (Kimi to Koete Koi ni Naru), the beloved manga by Chihiro Yuzuki, will receive a television anime this fall. The announcement came from distribution company REMOW, confirming that the series is set to air in Fall 2025.
A Beastfolk-Human Love Story
The story follows Asaka Mari, a high school girl who accidentally encounters Hidaka Tsunagu, a mysterious classmate who happens to be a beastfolk. While beastfolk are a known part of society, they remain a minority and often face prejudice. Mari’s initial unease soon fades as she discovers Tsunagu’s gentle nature and begins to admire his determination and kindness.
Cast and Production
Two main voice actors are on board for this romantic tale:
- Manaka Iwami as Asaka Mari (noted for playing Tohru Honda in Fruits Basket).
- Takuya Eguchi as Hidaka Tsunagu (famous for his role as Loid Forger in SPY x FAMILY).
Both have expressed excitement about bringing these characters to life. Fans can expect strong performances that convey the nuanced emotions of a relationship between two individuals from different backgrounds.
After reading the original work, I was touched by the two characters who cared for each other and carefully deepened their relationship despite the fact that it would be difficult for those around them to understand their love story between a beastman and a human.
Mari, who I will be playing, is a very straightforward and kind girl.
The relationship between the two characters and the other characters are really charming, so I hope you will look forward to it!

Manga Origins and Success
Since its launch in May 2019 on Shueisha’s Manga Mee website, With You, Our Love Will Make It Through has captured hearts with its unique fusion of school life and fantasy elements. The series has seven compiled volumes in Japan, with the eighth volume slated for release on January 23, 2025. Yen Press holds the English license and has already published the first volume, with the second volume set for an April 22 release.
