Study Group, a martial arts comedy high-school drama, will premiere on January 23 at 10 p.m. KST. It’s based on the popular webtoon of the same name and stars Hwang Min-hyun as Ga-min Yoon, a diligent student who never lets on that he’s a martial artist. He studies diligently but only ranks 279 out of 280 students at Yuseong Technical High School.
A Fierce Journey Through High School
Ga-min wants to be a good student, but his thug’s classmates and distractions make it hard. He forms a study group with underdogs. Can he balance brawls and books to get off the bottom of the leaderboard?
Action-Packed Adaptation
Ga-min uses his unforeseen strength to save his friends by fighting off bullies with pencils flying everywhere! The excitement and energy from the popular webtoon are captured in this adaptation, which will excite both long-time fans and new viewers.

Study Group has some laughs, but it’s mostly action-packed. Watch as Ga-min punches his way to the top (both in school and in fists), and shows that if you really want something, nothing can stop you.
