Shigeo Itou

Graduated from Hyogo Prefectural Hyogo Technical High School Design Department and dropped out of Setsu Mode Seminar.
In 1971 he founded Haori-sha with Katsushi Katsukawa, Renji Miyaoka, Masakichi Miyake and others (withdrew in 1977 ).
He presides over the design studio "Rocket Studio" in Kobe.
Many of the works (with some exceptions) were not published in major manga magazines of major publishers, but were published in small and medium-sized publishers that actively publish cutting-edge and experimental works, such as "Baorira" (Baorirasha) and "Yakou" (Hokutoshobo).
Among them, "Dancing Sewing Machine" is Ito's representative work, considered by his fans as a masterpiece novella.
