Ao no Korou: Japanese Interceptors 1945

This album brings together 6 short stories, all set in the final weeks of the Second World War.
Ki-108 Kai, J-7 Shinden, Ki-94II, D4Y Suisei, Ki-61 - these are just some of the aircraft we see flying around with such grace and dynamism.
Against a backdrop reminiscent of Japanese mystical traditions, with little touches of the fantastic skilfully distilled, this work plunges us straight into the daily life of the Japanese Interceptors, already defeated pilots trying every day to stem the endless tide of B-29s over Japan.
