Synopsis
When a prophetic dream shows her future stepfather killing her family, Emeline Wedgewood sets out to stop her mother's marriage to the duke at all costs. And what better way than to start a scandal with the duke's son, Eric Orleans? Suspicious of his father's intentions, Eric proposes that he and Emeline marry so their parents can't. But will the scandal of the century be enough to foil the duke's plans? Or will their sham marriage pit these unlikely allies into greater danger than ever before?
