The Eight Rules of the Lower Class:

1. A lower class must be cunning.

2. A lower class must be quick-witted.

3. A lower class must never get angry.

4. A lower class must never draw a sword recklessly.

5. A lower class must not cause trouble.

6. A lower class must stay away from beautiful women.

7. A lower class must never associate with lower class people.

8. A lower class must know their place.

I realized long ago that if I kept to these Eight Rules of the Lower Class, I could act as a master.
