Kaede Saimiya, a fourth-year university student, possesses the power to extract the memories of anyone she touches. However, unable to control her power, Kaede avoids interacting with people, resulting in constant failures in both part-time jobs and job hunting.
One day, Kaede encounters an office worker on a train platform. Seeing the woman exhausted both physically and mentally from workplace harassment, Kaede uses her power to extract her memories. However, this is witnessed by her older childhood friend, Ao Kamishiro.

Six years later, Ao reunites with Kaede, but has no memory of her. This is because Kaede extracted his memories. But after learning about her ability and current situation, Ao proposes a job extracting people's memories…?
