Synopsis
In Kyoto during the Genroku era (1688-1704), a series of unexplainable and mysterious incidents occurred. What is the evil monk Dokagyo's plan to resurrect the evil spirits that have left a lasting grudge against the world? Sadamori Ogasawara, a priest in Kyoto, visits a high priest on Mount Hiei to receive wisdom on how to exorcise evil spirits and meets a young man named Kenshiro Tsubanari. The young swordsman who has the blood of the other world in his veins, wields a demon blade that rattles when it detects evil spirits and engages in mortal combat with the evil spirits led by the vicious and inhumane Doukagami.
