At the beginning of Rules, he is 17 years old, in his third year of high school. He's Atori's gay friend. He has a crush on Atori, and without revealing his feelings to Atori, he starts a relationship with Hikaru, whom he met in a gay cruising area. He has a timid nature, and a definite complex about being gay. He's aiming to become a novelist.
